VICTOR M. EPPORT

Victor Epport established what is now Epport, Richman & Robbins, LLP, in 1957. In his over 50 years of practice, Mr. Epport has represented a wide range of clients from diverse industries in major commercial, real estate, and bankruptcy litigation. Mr. Epport is a former member of the Board of Governors for the Financial Lawyers Conference (from 1980-1983), as well as a former Chairman of the Los Angeles County Anti-Pornography Task Force (1987), and former President of the Los Angeles County Commission on Obscenity and Pornography (1986-1987). Mr. Epport has served on the Committee of Administration of Justice for the California State Bar, and has been both a mediator and arbitrator for the Los Angeles County Superior Courts. Mr. Epport is now of counsel to the firm and spends time as a Judge, Pro Tem, for the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
Education:
Mr. Epport received a Bachelor of Arts in 1950 from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Juris Doctor in 1953 from the School of Law at the University of California, Los Angeles where Mr. Epport was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.
Admissions:
Mr. Epport was admitted to the California State Bar in 1953. He is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
Accolades:
Mr. Epport was named Los Angeles County Superior Court Volunteer of the Year in 2003.
